Τhe Minister of Tourism, Vassilis Kikilias, had a meeting with the Association of Greek Professional Organizers of Conferences and Events at the Ministry of Tourism.
Mr. Kikilias pointed out that conference tourism is a sector in which Greece has comparative advantages that should be exploited, recognizing the important role it can play in the development of the country. In this context, he underlined that the creation of a Metropolitan Conference Center in Athens is crucial, which will give high added value to the tourist product of the city, especially in non-tourist peak periods.
