The 13th Round of Political Consultations between Greece and India took place in Athens, the Greek foreign affairs ministry said on Saturday, in the context of the steady strengthening of relations and following subsequent visits on both sides at the level of foreign ministers, it added.
During the consultations, which took place at the level of the secretaries general of the two countries’ foreign ministries, several areas of bilateral cooperation were examined, as was the further strengthening in areas of mutual interest, in particular investments, defense cooperation, culture and mobility.
Further fields of mutual strategic interest were also identified, such as the safety of maritime transport, while regional and global developments were also discussed.
The two sides agreed that the next round of political consultations between the secretaries general of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Greece and India would be held, within 2024, in New Delhi.
