HAWC Members and Friends,
At its national conference, this year, in Washington D.C., the Hellenic American Women’s Council (HAWC) will address one of the most relevant issues of our time – how to recognize the increasing threat of terrorism and how to react under threat. How do we prepare to protect ourselves and families at home, at public places or during travel?
Three security experts will share practical advice on how to keep ourselves and families safe. Following the panel discussion, we will hold a luncheon, where we will honor with the “Aristeon Award” – Ambassador Eleni Tsakopoulos Kounalakis, the only Greek American woman who has served as U.S. Ambassador.
This will be an informative and substantive conference for both women and men. Join us – bring your family, friends and colleagues – learn how not to be a victim!
