The People’s Republic of China’s Vice Minister of Public Security & Head of National Immigration Administration, Xu Ganlu, visited the Greek Asylum & Migration Ministry on Tuesday, it was reported on Wednesday.
At the ministry, the Chinese official met with Deputy Asylum & Migration Minister Sofia Voultepsi, accompanied by the People’s Republic of China Ambassador to Greece Xiao Junzheng and a delegation of officials from China.
The two ministers discussed the interrelationship between protecting and intergrating refugees, while also preventing their marginalization, radicalization and delinquency, it was noted in an announcement by the Greek ministry.
This was the Chinese official’s first working visit to Greece.
