Attica Group CEO Spyros Paschalis submitted his resignation on Thursday, a few hours after the tragic death of 36-year-old Antonis Karyiotis in the port of Piraeus.
The man died late on Tuesday when he attempted to board the ‘Blue Horizon’ ferry of Attica Group and fell off the ship’s vehicle ramp after an altercation with members of the crew.
As Attica Group stated in its announcement, the company’s Board of Directors accepted today the resignation of the managing director.
