Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openess Kostas Fragogiannis, heading a delegation of government officials and representatives of startups, departed on Friday for San Francisco for a seven-day visit.
Deputy Development and Investment Minister for Research and Technology Christos Dimas and the general secretary of international economic relations and openess and president of Enterprise Greece Ioannis Smyrlis as well as 12 representatives of startups, members of Elevate Greece, make up the delegation.
The aim of the trip is the promotion of the Greek innovation ecosystem and the strengthening of relations with prominent Greeks and Greek-American scientists, academics and entrepreneurs in the USA and especially in Silicon Valley. Another aim is to present and promote to the local business world the favourable conditions that have been formed in Greece for the attraction of even more investments in the field of research, technology and innovation.
