Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Extroversion Kostas Fragogiannis departed on Sunday for Riyadh to attend the 1st EU-Saudi Investment Forum on Monday.
He is accompanied by Maira Myrogianni, secretary general for International Economic Affairs. They will also attend the 7th Future Investment Initiative (FII) in Riyadh on October 24-26.
Fragogiannis is expected to deliver interventions in both events, while he will also attend a work lunch with members of the Greek-Saudi Business Council in the Saudi Arabian capital.

The EU-Saudi Investment Forum is jointly held by the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA) and the European Union. It reflects the good relations of the two sides, while bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to explore a host of mutual investment opportunities.
The FII brings together the world’s leading investors, business leaders, policymakers, inventors, and explorers to come together to discover the new markets and navigate new frontiers of economic growth and prosperity. This year’s theme is ‘The New Compass’, focusing on state-of-the-art sectors like the energy transition, artificial intelligence, climate change, and biotechnology.
