Greek Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Andreas Katsaniotis met on Wednesday with the recently appointed Ambassador of Egypt to Athens Omar Amer Youssef.
On Twitter, the Greek minister wrote that they both reaffirmed the strategic nature of the two countries’ relations.
Katsaniotis added that he underlined the significance of the trilateral allliance of Greece, Cyprus and Egypt affecting several fields of cooperation among the three countries.
Finally, Katsaniotis briefed the Egyptian ambassador of his upcoming official visit to Cairo, which is most likely to be held in November.
