“Today’s meeting is held with the participation of the Foreign Ministers of Sweden and Finland who we welcome to the NATO family,” Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias stated at his arrival for the NATO foreign ministers’ meeting taking place in Bucharest on Tuesday, pointing out that Greece has signed all the relevant accession protocols.
“The Greek position at NATO’s ministerial meeting is clear,” he said. “Initially, we support Ukraine and more generally we are against any revisionism and our firm position is for compliance with international law and protection of the independence and territorial integrity of all countries.”
“The conclusion from the Russian invasion of Ukraine is clear: revisionism has no place in the 21st century,” he noted.
