“Pindos”, a Greek poultry cooperative based in Ioannina, announced a 9.5 million euros investment to build a new poultry processing unit. The investment will create new production lines and enable the cooperative to hire more than 100 workers.
It is part of a wider investment programme, worth 27 million euros, implemented by Pindos in the period 2020-2024. The investment was made using own capital, state subsidiary and borrowing from the Epirus Cooperatiave Bank and Eurobank. Pindos is a leader in the poultry industry, with a market share of more than 30%. It has a workforce of more than 1,200 workers.
