“Our country is now attractive for investments”, stressed the Deputy Minister of Development and Investment Christos Dimas, at the event “Building bridges of innovation between research and entrepreneurship”, which was organized by the Institute of Democracy Konstantinos Karamanlis, in collaboration with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung.
Referring to Pfizer’s investment, the Undersecretary underlined that: “Investing in research and innovation is a strategic priority of our government. Greece must play a leading role in Southeast Europe in research and innovation. With Pfizer’s investment we know that, not only are we achieving this goal, but Greece can also play a leading role worldwide”.
Mr Dimas stated that the funding for the strengthening of the research and innovation in Greece will exceed 500 million euros. In particular, he told the Recovery Fund that it is a very useful tool in order to improve the performance and the competitiveness of the national economy in many areas.
