A C-130 military aircraft will leave for Gaza on Monday carrying humanitarian aid, including medicines and food, Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis said on Friday in parliament. He noted that Greece’s position on the issue of the Middle East is a “totally humanitarian position”.
“Greece by itself and despite the aid it offers via the UN, has already programmed to send aid to Gaza. On Monday morning a Hellenic Air Force C-130 aircraft will take off for Gaza, carrying essential goods, food, water, medicines that will be immediately distributed to the Palestinian people,” Gerapetritis said.
