Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister for Economic Diplomacy & Openness Kostas Fragogiannis and Deputy Minister of Development & Investments for Research & Technology Christos Dimas are heading to the United States on Saturday for a week-long working visit, it was announced on Friday.
The target of the two ministers’ visit is giving rise to mutually beneficial investment opportunities, and the establishment of a Greek national support body for Greek start-up companies in Silicon Valley.
Fragogiannis and Dimas will hold a series of meetings in the cities of Boston and San Fransisco with esteemed scientists from the universities of Harvard, MIT, Stanford and Berkley, and they will also meet with business people active in the US, in view of attracting valuable know-how, and the interest of American companies to Greece.
