Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with US House Representative Gus Bilirakis, of Greek descent, on Monday.
Sources said the two confirmed the excellent relations between Greece and the United States, and discussed among other things regional developments and bills in the US Congress of interest to Greece.
Bilirakis is serving a fourth term as congressman (R-Florida), and was recently recognized by the Foreign Affairs General Secretariat for his contribution to Greece and Greeks in the United States, as well as for his contributions in politics in general.
