Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou met with the Prime Minister of Moldova, Dorin Recean, at Chisinau on Tuesday.
On a three-day official visit, Sakellaropoulou was invited to Moldova by her counterpart, Maia Sandu.
Earlier on Tuesday, Moldova’s Culture Minister, Sergiu Prodan, gave Sakellaropoulou a tour of the 1816 residence of Michalis Katsikas, where Alexandros Ypsilantis lived ahead of the 1921 Greek Revolution, and which house served as the headquarters of the Friendly Society (Filiki Eteria).
