On January 18, 2019, several Hellenic Organizations of Philadelphia came together at the Arts Ballroom in Philadelphia for a Vasilopita celebration. Organizer of the event, Dr. Leo Iliadis thanked all attendees and wished everyone a great start to the new year. Father Christoforos Oikonomidis of St. Thomas GOC in Cherry Hill, blessed the cutting of the Vasilopita and all the guests. The highlight of the evening was the scholarship awards presentation by the Hellenic Medical Society of Philadelphia to two deserving students who have showcased academic excellence in their studies. All proceeds from the event were donated to the IOCC Hellenic Program.
