The import price index in the industrial sector jumped 25% in November 2021 compared with the same month in 2020, after a 9.9% decline recorded in the same months in 2020/2019, Hellenic Statistical Authority said on Friday.
More specifically, the statistics service attributed this development in the so-called imported inflation to a 37.1% jump in the import price index from countries outside the Eurozone and a 6.8% rise in the import price index from Eurozone countries.
The index was down 2.9% in November from October 2021.
