George Michael Psaros October 17, 1939 – June 12, 2023

Weirton, WV – George Michael Psaros, beloved husband of Mary Ann Psaros, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2023, at the age of 83. Born in Weirton, WV, on October 17, 1939, George was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a cherished Pappou.

George will forever be remembered for his unwavering devotion to his family and his commitment to his faith. His love and guidance were a source of strength and inspiration to his children and grandchildren. He was a pillar of support and his presence will be deeply missed.

A loving and supportive father, George is survived by his sons Michael and Harry. He adored his grandchildren Alexandra, Leo, Gus, Marina, and Maximos, who brought immense joy and happiness to his life. He was a proud father-in-law to Robin and Michelle, and he valued the bonds of family above all else.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the viewing, which will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Weirton, West Virginia. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am at the Internment Chapel Hill Cemetery, located at 135 Gilson Avenue, Weirton, West Virginia. A luncheon will be held at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church following the services.

In honor of George’s memory, the family kindly requests that donations be made to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Weirton, West Virginia, in lieu of flowers. George’s commitment to his faith and community will continue to be celebrated through these contributions.
