I would like to thank you for the exceptional honor to be selected to receive ‘Τhe Distinguished Person of the Year’ award.

I would like to thank you for the exceptional honor to be selected to receive ‘Τhe Distinguished Person of the Year’ award.

This highly honorary award gives me the opportunity to express once again my gratitude for the Greek Community which stands through time as a “bridge” connecting the principles, the values and the visions of Hellenism.

At this unfortunate time of economic and social crisis, the Greek Community stands as a bright beacon leading the way towards our national regeneration and recovery.

The Greek Community is Hellas’s heart, a strongly beating heart.

We need to unite our efforts in order to create a New Hellas, a strong and competitive New Hellas which can guarantee prosperity and equality of rights and opportunities to all, thus creating the future our children deserve.

Finally I would like to congratulate you for organizing this exceptional event but more specifically for your contribution to the Greek Community through your newspaper Hellenic News of America which has become a cultural reference for all Greeks living in the U.S.A
