Meeting Minister of Tourism Kikilias – Canadian Ambassador: April 2nd non-stop flights Canada Athens
On April 2nd, non-stop flights from Canada to Athens will commence. This announcement was made known after today’s meeting which took place at the offices of the Ministry of Tourism between the Minister of Tourism the Honorable Vasilis Kikilias and the Ambassador of Canada the Honorable Mark Allen.
It is noted that the non-stop flights will run for the first time ever until the end of November whereas until recent years they ran until October.
Mr. Kikilias expressed his satisfaction with the news which in accordance with the recent termination of the required negative covid test for fully vaccinated travelers from Canada will attract more visitors from the Canadian market.
Mr. Allen informed the Minister of Tourism of this change in Canada’s travel advisory, as until yesterday the country’s government was recommending to its citizens to avoid all unnecessary trips.
