The icons are of the Life-receiving Spring (Ζωοδόχος Πηγή) and Saint Dionysios of Zakynthos, patron Saint of forgiveness.

Memory eternal to all the victims of 9/11 and may God grant strength to us all as we go forward, through the prayers of Saint Nicholas, whose church is being rebuilt, Saint Dionysios of Zakynthos, and the Panagia who as the Mother of God bore immense suffering and pain. May they pray for our country and those who still suffer due to the loss and pain of tragic death.

May we remember too in our thoughts, prayers, and actions the rest of the suffering world, the persecuted Christians of Syria and the Middle East, and all the refugees that flee the senseless violence over there.
