The convergence of incomes in Greece with those in Europe and the internal convergence of the regions with the incomes of Attica, is the national goal that the Greek government has prioritized, Minister of State Akis Skertsos pointed out on Tuesday at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, where Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis presented the digital platform erga.gov.gr and the 12+1 regional development plans.
“Having resolved our existential issues regarding Greece’s position in Europe, we must ask ourselves what we can do better to improve the factors that lead Greece to growth and additional investment,” Skertsos noted announcing that the digital platform includes more than 6,000 projects of all kinds, in all regions of Greece, while our country has funds of 102 billion euros – through the EU programs – until 2027, to implement various projects in the Greek territory.
“This is the largest public investment package since the post-political period,” he noted.
“When we design the national tools for development, we always have as a priority that they are accompanied by a constant concern for investments in each region, with the aim of rendering a growth identity, so that it can go higher, offering better incomes and opportunities, but also giving everyone the right to remain in the place where they were born by choice,” he said.
