Syracuse AHEPA Chapter 37 held their monthly meeting on October 17, 2020 virtually via GoToMeeting due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This was a special meeting to celebrate OXI Day. Mike Labatos was the moderator and co-panelist with Dr. James Telonis. Fr. David Smith administered the opening and closing prayer. We were honored with the presence of our D6 Governor, Lou Katsos, who made a huge contribution to the discussion and what OXI Day means. We are thankful to Chris Pappis, D6 Secretary for being on the helm of video and audio.

Chapter 37 is the second oldest chapter in D6 and one of 2 chapters owning an AHEPA home in NY State, providing quality affordable housing to seniors in the Syracuse area. The officers for 2020-2021 are President – Mike Labatos, Vice President – Stavros Capousis, Vice President and membership chair – George Nardone, Secretary – Peter Panels and Treasurer – Andrew Miledonis.
