The leader of opposition PASOK-KINAL, Nikos Androulakis, requested the speeding up of the prosecutor’s investigation into the wiretapping case in a meeting on Monday morning with the head of the Prosecutor’s Office, Antonis Eleftherianos. In his statements, Androulakis underlined that the case will not become statute-barred and that those responsible will have to answer for their actions.

Specifically, the leader of PASOK-KINAL stated: “I came here today, where the heart of judicial system beats, and I submitted to Mr. Eleftherianos a request to speed up the prosecutor’s investigation, which concerns the wiretapping affair.

This case will not become statute-barred, either politically or penally. And those responsible can rest assured that they will fully assume their responsibilities.
