“The government’s and the Prime Minister’s first concern is the support of the Greek family that is suffering from the increase in prices, the hike in electricity rates, which have skyrocketed due to the natural gas rate increase, which is a repercussion from the war in Ukraine” Citizen Protection Minister Takis Theodorikakos said in an interview with SKAI TV on Sunday.
The Minister estimated that Greece is entering into a more optimistic course noting that “The country is standing and despite their problems the citizens feel secure that there is a strong hand holding the country’s wheel, clear mind and clear course forward for growth with security and prospect for all”.
Finally, Theodorikakos said that this Easter “we will have more freedom to celebrate the Easter holidays away from the quarantine” adding that the Greek police is on full alertness to contribute and facilitate the citizens and make easier their exodus for the Easter holidays”.
