Peter Paras powerfully emphasizes that in addition to the war against terrorism, a spiritual fight undertaken by peace-loving Muslims is also necessary to defeat terrorism

MAITLAND, FL—Peter Paras’s new book, The Wages of Hate – Killing Is Not From God, ($33.99, paperback, 9781498453622) shows the futility of terrorism and that hate brings only destruction. Through this fictional story, Paras sends the message that killing is not from God, and that when this idea is accepted as a movement it could be a powerful force against terrorism. The story features two young men, Costas and Dimitri, who neutralize a terrorist attack, at Kennedy International Airport. To avenge his fallen comrades, Mahi the President of Aswan Enterprises, also known as Madeeh, Commander of Alquaeda USA, immediately declares a fatwah (encyclical) against the young men and their families, pursuing them relentlessly all over the world. Twenty years later, Dimitri an FBI Agent on antiterrorism, had infiltrated and neutralized Alqueada West. Costas, now a formidable FBI agent uncovers a terrifying plot, code-named Armageddon, to detonate atomic bombs delivered at different US ports within two weeks of an unknown date. It’s a race against time for the FBI to find and destroy the bombs.

“I hope readers will take away the lesson that killing is not from God,” states the author. “I want them to understand the true meaning of Jihad is a spiritual fight that a man undertakes against his own passions (women, money, glory, etc) – in order to surrender himself to God and become a Muslim.”

Peter Paras’ mother was a Christian refugee from Eastern Thrace. He is well aware of the terroristic tactics employed at that time to relocate or exterminate the Christian population from Asia Minor and Eastern Thrace. He stresses that the current killing of innocent people in the name of Allah is once again an extreme position taken by terrorists that can in no way be justified spiritually by the Quran. He is a Nuclear Physicist. His experience in nuclear science and radiation protection makes him an expert in the area of the effects of radiation from an atomic explosion.
