The 11th Athens Flying Week – Tanagra International Airshow is returning to the Tanagra Air Base on September 2-3 this year, with organisers promising that it will be better and more impressive than ever.
It is the largest air show in the Eastern Mediterranean, with a rich programme that includes individual planes, aerobatic teams and many other entries that will make their first appearance in Greece’s skies.
Among possible surprises, for which the organisers are now awaiting official confirmation, is the appearance of an F-35 jet, giving Greek audiences a chance to view the cutting-edge stealth aircraft up close for the first time.
