A draft law on waivering confidentiality in communications, and on cybersecurity and protection of personal data was tabled in Parliament on Tuesday.
According to a statement by the ministry of Justice, the bill will “guarantee the necessary balance between protecting privacy and national security, within the constitutional framework and on the basis of best international practices.” It will also strengthen “the rights of citizens against threats relating to technological advances.”
