Daughters of Penelope Sisters around the globe met on Friday night via Zoom to learn more about virtual fundraising. The presentation was hosted by Daughters of Penelope Grand Treasurer Marianthi Treppiedi, Grand Governor Zone III Gretchen Holtsinger, and Grand Governor Zone V Margaret Dritsas. Friday night’s webinar was part three of the Daughters of Penelope Grand Lodge webinar series spearheaded by Grand President Celia Kachmarski. “During this difficult time it is imperative we connect and engage with our membership and discuss relevant topics to promote our sisterhood and mission,” said Kachmarski. Daughters of Penelope Executive Director Elena Saviolakis added, “with the global pandemic putting a pause on most face to face events, our virtual fundraising efforts are more important than ever before.”
