Government spokesperson Yiannis Economou on Saturday in an interview with SKAI TV said that what is happening with the diesel price is unprecedented and does not only happen in Greece. “We understand how important it is for the total of the production chain and we are here to see what we can do. When we have something ready and specific to say we will announce it”.
Referring to the Turkish provocativeness, he underlined that “as much as Turkish President Erdogan and the Turkish leadership insist on fiction stories, propaganda and threats to create impressions and intimidate us the reality is here and strongly resists. His positions do not persuade anyone in the world.
“We do not provoke” he said, “We are factor of stability and peace but firm on issues of our national sovereignty and our sovereign rights. We are totally capable of managing any threat with very high effectiveness. This is something that everyone knows and we will continue in this direction. Calm, effective and firm.
