Alternate Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis said that the European Council’s decisions “are a strong political European answer to the markets’ games”, in an interview with the Sunday edition of Eleftheros Typos underlining that “they are giving us weapons to address the crisis and to create the necessary safety net for the consumers”.
What is of major importance for Greece, Varvitsiotis said, “is that many of those Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis had proposed in March 2022 are becoming now European policy and “Greece’s proposals part of the overall European policy”.
