Grecotel Hotels and Resorts, the largest luxury hotel chain in Greece, is reducing by 10% the listed menu prices in 150 restaurants at the 30 Grecotel hotels across Greece. The decision took place immediately after the official reduction of the VAT in food services and products. “Grecotel decided to pass the full amount of tax reductions to its guests. We at Grecotel, are very glad that significant TAX reductions are taking place in Greece, therefore our hotels and the country, in general, become more competitive. We are delighted that Greek food will be offered by our chefs with a premium discount” outlined Vassilis Minadakis, Grecotel’s General Manager. Grecotel Group is already showing an average increase of 4% in bookings compared to last year, and 2020 looks even brighter with the new tax system.

“Amazing new restaurants inspired by contemporary culinary concepts such as the brand new Kalyvaki at Grecotel Riviera Olympia & Aqua Park has been added to our portfolio this year along with 13 restaurants and bars at the Casa Marron” added Minadakis.  The brand new dazzling Grecotel Casa Marron, formerly Lakopetra Beach, in the Peloponnese welcomed its first visitors at the end of May. The hotel is located at the golden beach of Lakopetra, a scenic landscape surrounded by exotic palm trees, olive trees and colorful gardens that enhances the views of its 172 sunny rooms and 92 spacious bungalows. Casa Marron has been transformed as the ultimate destination for our distinguished guests who seek luxurious accommodations and a connection with the nature that surrounds them. These new additions have been part of the implementation of a business plan that included the radical renovation and expansion of 5 luxury hotel complexes, totaling 42 million dollars.
