Social D Partitions Company has recently introduced a new countertop social distancing partition designed to create a barrier between patrons sitting at counters or long tables.
The partition is made of a steel base that is powder coated with a rich bronze color, using a 3/16” thick acrylic. It retails for $199.
“We have all seen restaurants using partitions on the back of their booths to create separation between guests, but there hasn’t been many good options for countertop partitions,” said Steve Theofanous, CEO of Chicago-based Social D Partitions.
As more people get vaccinated and the demand for indoor dining increases, food service industry operators will be looking for effective ways to make their guests feel safe while enjoying indoor dining again.
I believe that “partitioned indoor dining” will be a term that many of us will be hearing more about in 2021 and a trend that guests will be looking for when deciding on a safe place to dine.
