Queens, NY – The illustrious Greek singer, Manolis Mitsias, will enchant audiences with his timeless melodies at Queens Theatre in the Park on September 23rd. This highly anticipated concert is a celebration of Mitsias’ “50 Golden Years” in the music industry and is set to be a night of musical magic and cultural significance.
The concert is proudly organized under the esteemed auspices of the Hellenic Republic, highlighting the importance of Greek culture on an international stage. It is also made possible through the gracious assistance of numerous organizations dedicated to preserving and promoting Hellenism, including the Pan-Cypriot Association of America, the Hellenic American Project of Queens College, PSEKA, the Federation of Cypriot Organizations of America, AHEPA, the Chian Federation, and several other esteemed expatriate organizations.
All net proceeds from this event will be allocated to support two invaluable Queens College programs – Byzantine Studies & Modern Greek Studies and the Hellenic American Project. These programs, which play a vital role in preserving and disseminating Greek culture and heritage, currently face the threat of discontinuation due to financial constraints. Your attendance at this concert will contribute directly to their continued existence.
