Join us Tuesday, April 2nd for a spectacular cultural and historical presentation on “The Impact of Ancient Hellenic Culture in Modern Hellenic Jewelry Design” at the 3 West Club (3 West 51st) in Manhattan. The Keynote Speaker will be Xaris Apergi, well-known Architect (NTUA) & Jeweler, with a Prologue and Introduction by Clelia Charissis, journalist, poet & UNESCO Director of Literature and Art (Piraeus & Islands). There is no charge for this event (but registration required) which is being underwritten by the event sponsors. EMBCA will be hosting the event for AHEPA Delphi Chapter #25 and the DOP Evriklea Chapter #36. There will be an auction of select items from Apergi Jewelry Collections after the program presentations, and the net proceeds from the Auction of the Jewelry items will be to benefit the fundraising Campaign for the Home Expansion Project of St. Michael’s Home in Uniondale (Hempstead), N.Y.

**** Reminder also to join us on Thursday, March 28 at the Russian Tea Room for EMBCA’s “The State of NYC Development, Design & Construction- 2019 Spring Panel Discussion” in Honor and Memory of Faith Hope Consolo. The panel moderator of the Spring 2019 panel discussion will be Lou Katsos President of Jekmar Associates and EMBCA’s President , and the panel information will include among others Chris (Jiashu) Xu, Founder and President of United Construction and Development Group; Kenneth Colao, President of CNY Group; Martin Piazzola , Senior Vice President of Development at Avalonbay Communities Inc.; David Rothstein, Executive Vice President of Construction of Extell Development Company; and Eric Benaim, CEO/President and Founder of Modern Spaces. The panel will discuss Faith as well as the latest in NYC development, design and construction.

The EMBCA Development, Design & Construction Panel Discussion series as many of you know has been very popular with professionals in the industry and related to the caliber of panelists and as well the unscripted nature of the discussions. As such this event tends to SELL OUT, so please purchase your tickets as early as possible if you are interested in attending.
