The PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation will host its highly anticipated 2025 Awards Gala on Saturday, June 14, at the Hilton Chicago, bringing together community leaders, scholars, and supporters for a night of recognition, culture, and impact.
For over two decades, the Foundation has been a beacon of educational opportunity for Greek-American students, awarding over $270,000 in scholarships annually. This year’s Gala will honor 52 exemplary scholars who embody academic excellence, leadership, and a deep connection to their Hellenic roots. These awards are more than financial aid—they represent an investment in the future of Hellenism in the United States.
A highlight of the evening is the debut of the Exceptional Alumni Award, which will be presented to Katerina Glyptis, President of Tim Hortons U.S. and a 2010 PanHellenic scholarship recipient. Her remarkable journey from recipient to industry trailblazer is a shining example of the Foundation’s lasting impact.
The Gala will also present the 2025 Paradigm Award to Cia and Tom Souleles, executive producers of Echoes of the Past, for their work elevating Greek identity through film and storytelling.
Equally significant will be a heartfelt tribute to Robert A. Buhler, Chairman of the PanHellenic Scholarship Foundation. A devoted Philhellene, Buhler’s visionary leadership and philanthropy have helped expand the Foundation’s reach and legacy. His steadfast commitment to education, youth, and cultural preservation continues to shape generations of Greek-American leaders.
