The Thessaloniki-based International Digital Technology and Innovation Exhibition ‘Beyond’ is now one step closer to its goal of graduating from a regional technology exhibition to one that also attracts strong interest on an international level, after the conclusion of the second exhibition co-organised by TIF-Helexpo, Be-Best and Industry Disruptors Game Changers (IDGC).

Covering an area that exceeds 20,000 sqm and with the participation of roughly 300 start-up exhibitors from 30 countries, featuring pavilions that vie those of other major exhibitions, such as Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and parallel sessions with over 150 speakers from every field that makes up modern technologies, Beyond is looking to the future with optimism, said Michalis Stagos, co-founder of IDGC, in statements to the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA).

Stagos also underlined that the exhibition’s philosophy is to bring together enterprises, educational institutes, research and development centres and public administration to bring about the interaction which is necessary for technological advances to turn into products and services in the citizen’s interest. The huge participation of the people and the over 5,000 B2B meetings are expected to bring results in this direction.

Of great interest, also, was the Technology Forum co-organised with the ANA, which brought to Thessaloniki (at the Vellidis Conference Hall) a group of very significant speakers from Stanford University and Silicon Valley.

The next Beyond exhibition will be held in May 2023.
