Greece’s natural gas company DEPA SA on Monday announced it completed the payment to Gazprom for natural gas supplies in April, said Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA).
According to sources, the transaction was made in line with the guidelines of the European Commission given on May 19, fully ensuring that the international framework of sanctions and the decisions of the European Union were not violated. In cooperation with Greek authorities, the payment was made in euros, DEPA noted.
