“Even now, Turkey should comply with our partners’ strong message and abandon the escalation tactic, the aggressive rhetoric and the revisionism” Alternate Foreign Minister Miltiadis Varvitsiotis underlined in an interview with ethnos.gr on Sunday.
“Greece does not follow Turkey’s aggressiveness, we speak the language of diplomacy, dialogue and international cooperation” he said.
Varvitsiotis said that the internationalisation of the Turkish round of threats has already bore fruit. In parallel, he said that the government “strengthen its deterrence ability in order to be totally prepared and at military level, in case it is considered necessary. Greece is safe, determined and ready”.
