Widener University Dean of Hospitality Management Nicholas Hadgis, PhD, will facilitate a seminar at the 24th Annual Hermes Expo, on March 31, 2015 at the Concordville Inn.

Dr. Nicholas Hadgis has been the dean of the School of Hospitality Management for more than 30 years. Through his leadership, the Widener University School of Hospitality Management has grown into one of the top ranked accredited programs in the United States.

“A central focus of this year’s Hermes Expo is the hospitality industry,” said Hermes Expo Founder Paul Kotrotsios. “As Dean of Widener University’s Hotel Management and Hospitality Program, Dr. Hadgis is in an ideal position to see clearly the current status of the industry as well as identify future trends.”

The Hermes Expo International Committee also selected to honor Dr. Hadgis in recognition of his service, contribution and leadership to the Greek-American community by presenting him with its annual Hermes Award during the Hermes Expo Dinner. Dr. Hadgis’ accomplishments and public service keep the Hellenic Spirit and Identity alive and serve to inspire the Greek-American community.

Previous Hermes Award recipients include: Founder&CEO of SigmaPharm Founder and CEO Dr. Spiro Spireas, the Honorable Aris Melissaratos, Hon. Chris Spirou of New Hampshire, Senator Paul Sarbanes, Philadelphia Mayor John Street, Dean of Drexel University School of Business Dr. George Tsetsekos, Congressman Zach Space, Constantine Caras of Leadership 100, Olympic Gold Medalist Pyrros Dimas, Supreme Presidents of the AHEPA Karakostas, Gulas and Grossomanides, the President of Drexel University the late Dr. Constantine Papadakis, Temple University Health System President John Kastanis, Commander of the Archons Dr. A. Limberakis, and many other prominent and successful individuals and business professionals.
