The Greek prime minister is looking into amending electoral law in view of holding snap elections ahead of tabling next year’s state budget, SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance leader Alexis Tsipras told his party’s political secretariat on Tuesday.
The main opposition party leader added that the Greek premier is pressured by both the recent wire-tapping scandal and the country’s overall economic predicament.
Tsipras expressed his belief that Syriza will win the next national elections, whenever these may be held.
