New York, NY— For 46 years, Friends of Karen has served as a lifeline for families with children diagnosed with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses. The organization provides essential emotional, financial, and advocacy support to help these families navigate their unimaginable challenges.
This year, the Friends of Karen Gala will take place on Friday, November 8th, at Guastavino’s, nestled under the iconic 59th Street Bridge in New York City. The Gala’s theme, “Heroes Among Us,” will celebrate the resilience and courage of the children and families supported by Friends of Karen, as well as the generosity and dedication of their supporters.
The Tenedios family, pillars of the Greek-American community, are proud to support this year’s event. Known for their commitment to philanthropy and community service, the family—Olga and their children Christina, George, and Stephanie—are passionate advocates for Friends of Karen and are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of families facing such difficult circumstances.
“I am asking for your help to make this event truly successful. Friends of Karen’s incredible work is made possible by the generous gifts from people like you therefore we ask that you consider a sponsorship opportunity to help this very important organization continue their great work,” said Steve Tenedios.
