Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Openness Kostas Fragogiannis on Friday submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis for personal reasons.
On his part, Mitsotakis accepted his resignation and thanked him for his service, the prime minister’s press office said.
New Democracy MP for Serres Tassos Hatzivasiliou will be the new Deputy Foreign Minister responsible for economic diplomacy and openness.
Fragogiannis remains an unpaid adviser to the prime minister on issues of extroversion.
The swearing-in ceremony of the new minister will be held on Monday, January 20.
