His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew has been named the 2025 Templeton Prize recipient, one of the most prestigious honors in the world. The Templeton Prize, accompanied by a $1,400,000 monetary award, celebrates individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to spiritual life and interfaith dialogue. His Holiness will travel to the United States in September to personally accept this esteemed award.
This recognition is a proud moment for the Orthodox Christian community, shining a spotlight on the tireless efforts of Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, who has dedicated his life to fostering peace, unity, and environmental advocacy globally. His Holiness’s profound impact on the world continues to inspire communities across nations.
In recognition of the importance of this milestone, His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros has entrusted Father Alexander Karloutsos, Protopresbyter of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, with overseeing the Patriarch’s September visit to the United States. Given the significance of this event, the Blue Dream Committee has made the decision to postpone the 2025 Blue Dream Summer Gala, originally scheduled for August.
Father Karloutsos extends his heartfelt thanks to the community for their unwavering support of the Blue Dream Ministry and assures all that the 2026 Blue Dream Gala will be an even more memorable celebration.
“I want to thank you for your steadfast support for our Church and the Blue Dream Ministry throughout these many years. We plan on making the 2026 Blue Dream Gala the best ever,” Father Karloutsos commented.
