Greek Minister of National Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos attended a conference on bolstering Ukraine’s defenses against Russia held at the Ramstein US Air Base in Germany on Tuesday.
At the meeting of 40 defense ministers invited by US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Panagiotopoulos reiterated that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a blatant violation of International Law and undermines European security.
The Greek minister also highlighted that Greece has sent both military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, and it also aligned with EU partners and allies in the issue of sanctions against Russia.
Hellenic National Defense General Staff chief, General Constantine Floros, also attended the meeting.
