Anastasios “Tom” Michalopoulos

January 22, 1950 – April 21, 2021

Although you have left us, you had fought for so very long and hard to stay and spend the extra time, it came with pain and we selfishly thank you for that.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Tina, his children Maria, Stathi, Mario, and Lena, and his beloved grandchildren Ethan, Tasos, Paulina, Taso, and Theo.  He was a devoted Pappou and loved them all very much.

It is impossible to encapsulate everything Tom has done, as he was a true trailblazer.  His entrepreneurial spirit, philanthropy, and his hunger to help individuals made him special.  He did not think that he was in any way more special, but the selflessness and time that he would give someone made him more worthwhile than he knew.  No idea was too big for him, as a creator, he believed that normally solutions will come and will be found.  He was a back of a napkin kind of guy 40 years ago and remained one until his very last days.  He did not stop, as that was life for him.

Although you have left us too soon, we know you look down on us with your infectious smile that would always light up a room.   Instead, your memory is now our guiding light that will help us get through the days, months, and years to come.

Thanks for reading Hellenic News of America

You have left us with so much to remember you by and we love you!
