Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in a meeting with the Secretary General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) Mohammad Sanusi Barkindo on Tuesday, stressed need to ensure the energy supply of the European Union and its member states at affordable prices.
During the meeting, the prime minister presented the Greek initiatives within the EU to ensure energy supply and a diversification of energy supply sources in Europe. During the talks, they also exchanged views on developments as regards the prices and the safe supply of oil worldwide, in the shadow of the Ukrainian crisis.
