“A Night in the Greek Islands”, was the theme of this year’s Ai Myrophori’s Philoptochos’ Bid-N-Buy on Friday, April 17, 2015. The Bid-N-Buy took place at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Philadelphia, PA. It was a vibrant and packed night with ladies from all over to participate in the event. Several of the gifts were donated from parishioners that helped make the event a success. It has been years since the Philoptochos of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral organized and hosted a Bid-N-Buy. Needless to say, this was one successful night, a night to remember. It was a perfectly themed night with Greek music playing in the background, lovely gift baskets with Greek delicacies and, of course, traditional Greek dishes prepared by Kostas Kravaris and the Parish Council.
