Paul Kotrotsios Attends Rutgers Football Game, Strengthening Community Connections with Jim Polos
Somerset, NJ – Paul Kotrotsios, the Founder and Chairman of the Hellenic News of America and Founder and President of the Hermes Expo, recently enjoyed a memorable day at the Rutgers vs. Wisconsin football game, thanks to a generous invitation from his esteemed friend and notable Greek-American leader, Jim Polos.
The event marked Kotrotsios’ first visit to the iconic Rutgers Stadium in Piscataway, NJ, conveniently located near the historic Saint George Greek Orthodox Church. Parking in the church’s lot added a personal touch to the day, bridging the event to the vibrant Greek-American community in the area.
Jim Polos, former Mayor of Highland Park, NJ, and current Executive Director of Middlesex County, made the day even more meaningful by facilitating introductions to influential individuals, including Governor Phil Murphy, executives from leading area hospitals, and prominent business leaders. Among the notable encounters, Kotrotsios had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Koumbitsis and his family, as well as Dr. Peter Polos, Jim’s brother, whose warmth and hospitality enriched the experience.
