Greek-American relations, developments in the Balkan region and the situation in the Middle East took center stage during the second day of the Delphi Forum Conference in Washington D.C, organized by the Greek newspaper Kathimerini English edition, the Delphi Economic Forum, and the Hellenic American Leadership Council (HALC).
Among the participants were the Greek Minister of Defense, Nikos Dendias, Deputy Foreign Minister Alexandra Papadopoulou, Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy and Extroversion Tasos Chatzivasileiou, Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, Maira Myrogianni, former US Ambassador to Greece George Tsunis, US Senators Chris Van Hollen, Cory Booker and Jerry Moran, and other prominent Greek and American high officials.
The Ambassador of Greece to the US Katerina Nassika, along with Secretary General for Greeks Abroad, Maira Myrogianni and Mike Manatos of Manatos & Manatos discussed the Diaspora Strategy for the 21st Century, moderated by Deon Policy Institute’s Afroditi Xydi.
